STILL HAMMERING AWAY
| It
was a trade show for the warring set, and Phil Gary
Scianamblo was in the middle of it fighting for business. Scianamblo, president of a Columbus-based trading company, Phil Gary Enterprise USA, was one of the exhibitors of military equipment held in Paris in June. His efforts were chronicled in the show's daily newspaper: A photo in the paper shows him pounding a spike into a tire to demonstrate a tire seal he is marketing worldwide. His display captured the attention of many, including Gen. Dennis Reimer, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. |
Scianamblo
said he was nervous when the general's delegation
approached his booth and Reimer said, "Let's see
what you've got," but after showing off the concept,
his important audience seemed impressed. During is visit to the French capital, Scianamblo also attended a reception at the residence of U.S. Ambassador to France Pamela Harrinam. "It made me feel like I've come a long way," Scianamblo said. "This was the big dogs. I felt I had made it in my international business efforts." |
